Our History
Taubah Academy, formerly known as Touba, was founded in 2002 by Mrs. Halima Mohamed to offer Muslim families in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties an alternative to traditional homeschooling..

From the beginning, Taubah Academy has aimed to create an environment aligned with Islamic ideals, focusing on the holistic development of students—intellectually, spiritually, and physically.

Serving one of the largest immigrant Muslim communities in the Metro Atlanta area, Taubah Academy plays a crucial role in shaping responsible and contributing members of society.

Recently, we have expanded our services to include counseling, educational support, tutoring, and academic coaching for K-12 students and adult learners. Additionally, we are developing vocational training, professional development, and continuing education programs, which will be available soon, Insha Allah.
